1. 25th Annual Great Chicken Rally in Rocket City

Each Spring, hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts descend upon the Rocket City to attend the Great Chicken Rally. Eat, ride, dance, sleep, repeat! Three nights camping, BBQ Thursday, pancakes each morning, smoked chicken, Friday evening meal, and Saturday, lunch and dinner meals. Sides will vary. Free coffee, tea, lemonade, popcorn, and peanuts. Who could ask for more?

A Vintage/Classic BMW bike show will be held on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday there will be a Vintage/Classic BMW bike ride - judging will be held same day 12:00 to 3:00 PM.

Attendees get a rally pin, rally gift, chicken key chain (first 400), 100's of door prizes, standard rally awards, vendors, seminars, all for a $45 rally fee, children 6 to 12, $20, under 6 free. Day passes ONLY on Saturday, $25.

The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is one of the world’s most significant and tradition-laden beauty contests for automobiles. Under the patronage of the BMW Group, it has been held each May since 1999 in the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este and Villa Erba in Cernobbio.

The Concorso di Motociclette will likewise take place in the grounds of Villa Erba not far from Villa d’Este, providing fans of historic motorcycles with a platform for a unique concours and its adjudication by an international panel of judges. The competition is open to all collectors, enthusiasts and private owners of motorcycles which meet the requirements laid down in advance by a committee of experts. Motorcycles are selected according to their historical significance as well as technical and aesthetic criteria. Registration opened in January 2013 and the relevant documents can be found at

Our 37th Annual Mayday Madness, sponsored by Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners Club. All brands (not just BMW) and visitors welcome. We have reserved the Large Pavilion at the lower parking lot. Cookout facilities available (the club will provide the charcoal and non-alcoholic refreshments). Sorry, no overnight camping, but we have the site from early Sunday morning to dusk. The event will be held rain or shine, with no rain date. Bring your bike, sidecar, spare parts, family and friends. Bike judging and awards. Tour the seacoast and historic Hampton, Rye and Portsmouth, all only few miles away.

5. 17th International Classic Military Motorcycles Meeting

In 2013, we will organise our meeting again at 7, 8 and 9 June and in Harskamp again. Our meeting takes place at an enclosed private ground at No. 18 Radioweg in Harskamp, the Netherlands. Harskamp is situated in the centre of the Netherlands, between Amersfoort, Apeldoorn and Arnhem and is surrounded by sanded areas and forests. An ideal place for a military motorcycles rally with on- and off-road tours. On this site we have created a camping place with simple conveniences, but with lots of space for tents, campers, caravans and naturally our bikes.

Featuring vintage racing motorcycles from the 1920s to the early 70s and vintage superbikes from the 70s and 80s. The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association is dedicated to preserving the heritage of racing motorcycles and promotes this heritage through events at legendary race circuits. Road America is a track favorite of competitive vintage riders because of its four-mile layout including, high-speed straights, multiple turns and undulating terrain. Several passing areas contribute to the competitive spirit and racing action. Fans will also enjoy motocross, cross-country and trials competitions plus club corrals, a moving bike show and swap meet.

7. 18th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Ride and Show

Ride is open to all bikes built before 1987. Register 9 am -10 am at the Museum then travel approximately 70 paved miles through scenic Barry County. Lunch stop at half way point (purchase on your own). Show your bike on Sunday at the Gilmore Car Museum’s 18th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show and receive an additional 5 points toward your score.

The Midwest largest and fastest growing Vintage Motorcycle show features hundreds of motorcycles 20 years old and older (open to all makes) and a huge swap meet. Spectators arriving on motorcycles park their rides in a special lot next to show field – making one gigantic bike show! Held Rain or Shine.
